Brian Frost 2mo Edited Future Doctors Teach (FDT) is an incredible organization that has undoubtedly shaped my first two years of medical school. Born from the desire to bolster science education in Philadelphia public schools, FDT deploys groups of volunteer medical students to local classrooms where we provide engaging lessons about science and medicine. What started as just a handful of medical students teaching lessons in one school has now blossomed into 130 medical students teaching across 8 schools, during both regular curricular time and after-school programming.
